iBOY

 

VFX SUPERVISOR

 

After being shot, Tom wakes from a coma to discover that fragments of his smart phone have been embedded in his head, and worse, that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers.

​

I was the on-set VFX supervisor for iBOY for the entire duration of the shoot which was filmed on-set and on location in and around east London.

 

The shoot involved setting complex green screen setups, practical stunts and obligatory clean up shots. 

​

Due to the nature of the vfx Outpost would be adding I also had to take extensive notes, photography and advise actors on set. I also prevised a number of the complex shots live on set for the director.

​

After wrap I then led a team of approximately 10 artists over an 8 week period during which we completed and delivered around 130 vfx shots and a fully CG title sequence.

 

Outpost was the sole vendor for iBOY and it was a pleasure to be involved with the project. IBOY is available to watch on Netflix now.
